This session is for anyone who wants to be a recognized independent exhibiting artist. Barrie Lynn Bryant, a 32 year multidisciplinary and multimedia veteran of various fine art markets, will share with you the ways he has done it and will share with you how to exhibit and sell your work so that you, too, can establish yourself with a fine art career. First and foremost is developing a body of artwork that’s presentation ready, but then what? Bryant will discuss ways to exhibit your work with the purpose of establishing a collector base, entering your work in juried art shows, benefits to printing your own work, balancing the art vs. business equation, framing and presentation, motivation and inspiration, the highs and lows of being an artist, equipment choices, and staying true to yourself and as independent as possible.
